We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work as a tester within our Engineering group. In this role, you will be involved in the forefront of production activities for our most cutting-edge electronic product lines, including Space Rad Hard devices for our Aerospace and DOD customers.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating manual, semi-automatic, and automatic test equipment, as well as assisting in defining procedures.
- Validate and perform component tests under the direction of Engineer Staff to ensure that we deliver a quality product to our customers.
- Work closely with a strong and dedicated engineering and production cross-discipline group, and conduct in-depth failure investigations and analysis to maintain test hardware, ensuring that production yields and design dates are met.
- Responsible for performing automated tests on electrical devices, ensuring the hardware setup is validated and meets technical and operational requirements.
- Work from engineering procedures, notes, and other relevant documentation to test, evaluate, and verify the performance of components.
- Responsible for setting up hardware and software for component checkout, conducting specially designed functional tests, and ensuring the test station is set up correctly.
- In the event of test failures or malfunctions, you will be required to analyze and report the issues to the Engineering Staff and perform retests of reworked or modified subsystems as needed.
- Responsible for observing, recording, analyzing, verifying, and interpreting data acquisition, and collaborating with Engineers to eliminate false failure irregularities caused by setup and test station interference.
- Recommend changes to testing procedures to facilitate the obtaining of complete and accurate test information
- Responsible for maintaining pertinent logs and records, demonstrating equipment operations, and training other technicians as required.

- Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred.
- Knowledge in electronics, electrical, mechanical testing, or military training in testing of electronics, avionics, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to learn and use proprietary test station software in the testing and verification of electronic hardware.
- Must be able to follow written procedures and policies.
- First shift: 8 am to 5 pm. Overtime available.
- This is an ITAR role - the candidate must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Person.
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience as a tester of electronics, sub-systems or similar.
- Prior experience setting up and operating automated testing equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience maintaining positive and professional collaborative relations with multiple teams on several product lines.
