- Lead the Nabern ATE Lab team in providing best-in-class support for NPI development, qual and sample generations
- Day to day responsibility of test floor scheduling and activities
- Manage ATE equipment uptime to meet company-level KPI and OEE targets
- Provide technical and creative insight to solving tactical and strategic problems
- Responsible for CapEx and OpEx budget management
- Able to collaborate with internal Renesas and external parties (suppliers) to achieve common goal
Dimensions:
- Line management and leadership of design group 5-10 engineers
- Budget – contributes to budget setting and monitoring but not fully accountable
Principal Accountabilities:
- Supervising and leading a team of engineers and technician
- Delegating, coordinating, and scheduling activities of assigned team members
- Developing and monitoring pre-production work plans to ensure shipping requirements on time
- Troubleshooting of process problems and responding to Manager
- Drive technical innovation in the department
- Guarantee quality and following processes according to the Renesas standards and specifications
- Ensuring that the products are handled according to the given instructions
- Providing reports and feedback on results, issues to management, planning, test- and product engineering
- Training and mentoring of other team members
Key Performance Measures:
- Make sure that equipment is installed, serviced and repaired according to the maintenance plans
- Customer shipments must be delivered in the defined time frame which can be compared between the shipping date and the production plan
- Test results should have the best possible yield which is reported in iGate compare to the T-milestones à Achieve operational test yield target as set by NPI
- Ensuring quality of tested and provided products by following our internal procedures
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical education
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in operating and troubleshooting complex production test setup
- Supervisor experienced, contributing a successful team environment
- Excellent knowledge of production flows in the semiconductor- or related electronics industry
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
- Communicate effectively, clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work flexible working hours
- Teamworking skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels
- Good oral and written command of English, German is an advantage
