Systems Analyst
Role Overview: The Systems Analyst supports engineering and project management teams by maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing key lifecycle and portfolio management tools. This role focuses on Stages, Polarion, the Microsoft PPM suite, and Power Apps, ensuring these platforms are configured, integrated, and used effectively across the organization. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands on technical capability and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering, PMO, and business stakeholders to understand process requirements and translate them into system configurations or enhancements.
- Administer and support Stages and Polarion, including workflow updates, template management, user access, and troubleshooting.
- Configure and maintain the Microsoft PPM suite (Project Online, Project for the Web, Power BI integrations, resource management modules).
- Develop and maintain Power Apps and related Power Platform components (Power Automate flows, connectors, data integrations).
- Support system upgrades, patching, and environment maintenance in collaboration with IT and vendor teams.
- Analyze current processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, compliance, and data quality.
- Create and maintain documentation including system configurations, process flows, user guides, and training materials.
- Provide end‑user support, training sessions, and onboarding for new features or tools.
- Ensure data integrity, security compliance, and alignment with organizational governance standards.
- Participate in cross‑functional projects involving tool integrations, process harmonization, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Tool Administrator, or similar role.
- Hands‑on experience with Stages and/or Polarion in an engineering or product development environment.
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft PPM suite (Project Online, Project for the Web, Power BI reporting).
- Experience building and maintaining Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
- Ability to analyze complex processes and translate them into scalable system solutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across global teams.
- Experience writing clear documentation and supporting end users.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ALM/PLM tools or engineering lifecycle processes.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, SharePoint, or other Microsoft 365 tools.
- Understanding of integration concepts (REST APIs, data connectors, middleware).
- Exposure to Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
- Certifications in Power Platform, Microsoft Project, or ALM tools.
