Strategic Accounts Sales Director
To further strengthen our Strategic Accounts sales team we are looking for a Sales Director to lead IoT segment which comprises Mobile Phones, Media & Gaming, Wearables, Mixed Reality glasses, Smart Home and Consumer devices.
An ideal candidate is one who demonstrates leadership, passion to scale business and be flexible to act player or coach as the situation demands. Prior experience of calling FAANG customers and experience of managing teams is desired.
The Sales leader owns revenue and funnel growth for assigned accounts worldwide. This leader will work with Sales, FAEs, Product-lines to set account strategy and drive new design activity, new product introductions, steer resources and investments to the opportunities with best returns, grow and foster customer relationships, accurately forecast and track revenue, maintain clean funnel.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build and manage a high performing sales team of Global Account Managers calling some of the world’s biggest, most innovative and market-shaping customers.
- Drive a culture of accountability, entrepreneurship, collaboration, operational excellence and obsession for customer success.
- Identify and initiate improvements in processes, people and organization
- Empower the Sales, FAE, Sales operations, Customer service teams by arranging trainings and removing obstacles
- Develop and execute customer account strategy to establish/maintain Renesas as a strategic partner thereby maximizing revenue, market share and profitability
- Drive opportunity discovery, design-in and revenue conversion – end to end funnel management
- Responsible for accurate forecasting of revenue on a timely basis
- Drive business reviews with relevant Business Units, Customers and Partners
- Develop and maintain strong customer engineering, purchasing, and management relationships at all levels
- 12+ years executive selling experience in the technology industry
- Candidates with semiconductor experience are preferred.
- Preferred proven team management experience
- Proven record of successfully growing direct account responsibilities
- Excellent skills in customer interaction and negotiation, results driven, team player
- Self-directed, analytical, attentive to detail, and dedicated to quality of work
- Experienced and comfortable in a global role
- Travel Required.
