Staff validation engineer - APAC

Post silicon validation for Renesas’s memory interface product, Go through the entire process from silicon back to customer mass production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Work for DDR memory buffer products. The tasks include but not limit to develop silicon validation plan, setup validation environment, execute validation tasks and carry out validation summary and report.
2. Address product quality issue, highlight bugs to design team and drive improvement and bug fix.
3. Work across with design team, software team and global team for bug fix and product development.
4. Support customer issue and give proper feedback with feasible solution.

1. Good knowledge and experience in silicon electrical characterization and especially high-speed signal measurement, analysis and debug.
2. Strong knowledge of DDR3/4/5 or Seders protocol and electrical feature, testing and application.
3. Proficient in using Python scripting language, experience in automated testing programming and data processing is preferred.
4. Known about DIMM RCD, data buffer or I2C and I3C is plus.
5. Good experience with lab equipment such as high-speed oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, BERT, network analyzers, logic analyzers, DC power supplies, SMU, etc.
6.  Candidates with experience in board level high-speed circuit design are preferred.
7. Strong written and oral communication skill. Good at English.
8. MS/BS in EE or related, 5 years or more experience in related work.
