Staff Product Test Engineer
Sustaining Staff Product Test Engineers ensures product continuity after mass production by manage SPS, controllers and various AI products lifecycle, resolving production, package, process issues, and improving COGS. We are seeking a Product & Test Expert to join our team with a primary focus on sustaining engineering activities. his role as the Product owner and is critical in ensuring the long-term quality, reliability, and manufacturability of our power IC products. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including design, test, manufacturing, and quality—to support mature products in high-volume production, drive yield improvement, resolve customer issues, and extend product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Mass Production Sustaining Test Program owner to multiple products lifecycle.
- Sustaining Product COGS improvement and process optimization such as Yield/Volume/Test Time/failure improvements. Improve Test process and prevent potential quality excursions.
- Develop automation tools to improve operational performance and reporting efficiency.
- Support customer return activities, analyze product performance, failure modes, and increase test coverage for quality (RMA/FA).
- Serve as a mentor for less experienced engineers
- Cross function interface with Operation, QA, Reliability, Factory and OSAT
Requirements:
- Experience with test hardware and test program development
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering in Electrical/Electronic, Physics, Computer or related fields
- Experience with Advantest V93K, Terradyne ETS, or COHU Diamondx, or SPEA DOT800
- Experience in programming/scripting such as C++, basic, Perl, python.
- Proficient with ATE analog digital instruments and strong debug/troubleshooting experience
- Experience in Data manipulation and analysis skill. Familiar with JMP, PDF Exenso is a plus.
- Product Management skill. Strong sense of Cost, ROI and efficiency
- Highly self-motivated, adaptable and good time management skill
- 5+ years of experience working with Automated Test Systems (ATE)
- Need to work onsite.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
