Staff PCB Layout Engineer

• Manage PCB layout projects from design to manufacturing release.
• Design high-density server and power management PCBs with more than 28 layers.
• Develop and maintain PCB footprints, stack-ups, routing, and design constraints.
• Lead projects, mentor layout engineers, and coordinate schedules.
• Review designs and prepare manufacturing files to ensure quality and manufacturability.
• Work with engineering and cross-functional teams, PCB vendors, and assembly partners to resolve DFM/DFA issues.

PCB Design Expertise

• Experience with server PCBs 28+ layers, high-speed routing, power distribution, and high-density BGA routing.
• Strong knowledge of multi-stage HDI, blind/buried vias, five-level stacked microvias, and advanced stack-ups.
• Power electronics or power management PCB experience is preferred.

Manufacturing Knowledge

• Knowledge of backdrilling, cavity design, manufacturing capabilities, design rules, and process limits.
• Understanding of PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, and DFM/DFA.

Tools

• Proficient in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer and OrCAD Capture.
• Altium Designer experience is a plus.

Leadership and Communication

• Experience leading projects and mentoring PCB layout engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex layout projects independently.
• Good English communication skills for working with global teams and vendors.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
