Staff Layout/Mask Designer
-Work with circuit designers to build physical design floor-plan.
-Complete the physical layout design with the constraints of circuit design requirements;
-Verify the physical layout design to meet both circuit design requirements and process requirements;
-Use the advanced technologies to improve layout design quality and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s /Master’s degree in electrical and computer engineering or related field.
- At least 7 years layout design experience.
- Experience in custom layout design of Analog/Mixed Signal designs (e.g. ADC, DAC, PLL, IO …)
- Proficiency in using industry-standard layout tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens Calibre …)
- Good understanding of analog IC principles dealing with circuit and layout design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address layout-related issues efficiently.
- Proficient in layout techniques for Floor Planning, device matching, minimizing parasitics, RF shielding, EM, IR drop, ESD and high-frequency routing.
- Meticulous attention to details, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and quality in layout designs.
- High level of proficiency in interpreting DRC, LVS, ANT, ERC, etc.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and foundry technologies.
- coding skills in SKILL and PERL are a plus.
