Staff AMS Design Verification Engineering
Principal Accountabilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact between the local verification team and US-based Design and Verification teams.
- Facilitate seamless collaboration among teams spread across various time zones, applying strong communication and planning skills to synchronize efforts and meet project deadlines.
- Work across teams to integrate design verification processes, targeting first pass silicon success, adherence to performance and coverage goals, and schedule compliance.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a unified verification mindset that merges AMS and Digital methodologies, and mentoring staff to promote innovation and a deep understanding of the DUT.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and mentorship, delegate tasks efficiently, and ensure all activities align with internal best practices and schedule requirements.
- Monitor and report project progress, identify and take corrective actions promptly, contribute to corporate engineering process enhancements, and stay updated with industry trends to drive continuous improvement within the team.
- Represent the team in strategic discussions, including group management meetings and cross-site initiatives, and clearly communicate team and company objectives to align individual contributions with the company's strategy.
- Perform any ad hoc tasks as deemed reasonable by your manager.

- Ensure effective team profiling, through succession planning, development, and strategic talent acquisition.

- Instils culture of innovation, professionalism, and collaboration throughout team.
Technical Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in mixed-signal design verification and at least 5 years of experience managing a team of verification engineers.
- Strong fundamentals in mixed signal designs, including a thorough understanding of analog building blocks, digital design processes, and top-level integration.
- Writing and maintaining Analog Mixed Signal models, using real number modelling and VerilogAMS.
- Good understanding of PMIC ICs and DC-DC converters.
- Experienced in setting up and maintaining mixed signal testbench from scratch with the capability to debug and optimize mixed signal simulation performance, understanding the necessary trade-offs.
- Strong simulation debug capability, able to analyze simulation waveforms and pinpoint issues in schematics simulation, models or RTL.
- Expertise in Cadence vManager for Verification Planning, Regression Flow, and Coverage Analysis.
- Experience with Cadence Mixed-Signal Design Environment tools, including Virtuoso, ADE Assembler, and Xcelium.
- Strong understanding of Unix environment and shell scripting, alongside working knowledge of Python.
- Experience with functionally safe design verification and fault injection is highly desirable.

- Provide frequent reports on progress status and roadblocks, ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Effectively manage project tasks and issues using JIRA, showcasing strong organizational and tracking abilities.
