Sr. System Validation Manager


Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic System Validation Manager to lead multiple, concurrent product and system validation projects globally.  You will be the technical driver to lead   a multi-disciplinary team of system design, hardware and software engineers to deliver on validation of solutions and products.

This role requires an individual with deep embedded design experience and leadership skills with a proven track record of delivering and managing complex projects from concept to deployment Your primary mission is to ensure flawless execution, mitigate risks proactively, and drive decisions that align with our strategic business objectives of performance, cost, and time-to-market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead User Experience validation of Embedded Products & Solutions comprising of Renesas’s wide product portfolio of MCUs, MPUs, Power and Connectivity families
  • Develop end-to-end system validation plans for solutions targeting applications in Robotics, AI Infrastructure, Medical and Consumer for broad-market customers
  • Lead a team of system design,  hardware and software engineers to deliver on validation of solutions and products
  • Drive customer use-case and scenario validation.
  • Create a center of excellence for developing value-added assets – HW, SW , Tools, Documents - enabling a superior designer experience
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive leadership, providing clear, concise, and data-driven updates on project status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage expectations and secure buy-in for critical decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with leaders across Marketing, Product development, Application Engineering and Sales/FAE teams to create cohesive project development plans.

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of direct embedded product development and program management experience within the semiconductor industry or at a product development firm.
  • Direct working knowledge of MCUs, Power Management, Connectivity products
  • Deep technical knowledge of Embedded design including firmware, hardware and software
  • Proven experience managing multiple complex semiconductor projects concurrently, from definition to production ramp.
  • Expertise with advanced project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence) and methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Critical Chain).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
