Sr Staff Software Engineer CI/CD Architect
Looking for an experienced CI/CD Experienced Team Manager or CI/CD System Architect Design Engineer to join the 2B$ R-Car Gen5 SW Project for Global OEM/Tier1 automotive manufacturers where in the candidate will get to work on a wide range of exciting R-Car SW products developed on Renesas R-Car CI/CD Environment based on Cloud/On-premises server systems. This is a growth opportunity where in the candidate will get to define CI/CD requirements with stakeholders, lead CI/CD experts in JP/VN/EU, and to co-develop CI/CD system with OEM/Tier1/Suppliers to build, test, package and deliver our SW products with ensuring SW Quality by Agile & Scrum Practice.
Essential Functions:
- Deploy CI/CD system to HPC Software Solution Division (HSSD) in Japan, Vietnam, India and Germany
- Plan to develop the feature development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipeline
- Work with Program/Project managers, software developers & testers to prioritize requirements analysis in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Identify sources of manual work related to onboarding new projects from inception to CI/CD pipeline and strive to automate as much as possible
- Reduce the time it takes to build, deploy, and configure software to all environments
- Joint owner of SW build and release tools and processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Leadership (or Project Management/Team management) skills and 5+ years IT/software project management experience and proven track record of achieving objectives on time
- 2+ years DevOps/Software Engineering experience with evidence of exceptional ability (Agile & Scrum practice, coding skills like Python).
- 2+ years of experience with continuous integration tools like GitLab (Build CMake/YML files, Set up CI runner and the site management), JIRA, Docker, Artifactory, and/or other tools (e.g. Jenkins).
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Linux and/or Windows website and web service deployments
- Experience implementing Continuous Delivery pipelines.
- Experience Embedded SW on HW (SoC) development
- The ability to communicate in English required (CEFR C1 level, TOEIC: >800, IELTS: 6.5)
