Summary:
In this role, the Senior Help Desk support will be expected to own the entire lifecycle of onboarding a new employee and all that entails getting the equipment set up for employees in the Farmington Hills, Ottawa, CA, and remote offices. They will also be expected to resolve computer-related issues like mouse, keyboard, phone, printer, and laptop. This might include installing drivers, troubleshooting connections, installing and troubleshooting Microsoft Office products, and other standard software on the company laptop. The Sr. Systems Analyst will be expected to answer tickets from all locations (2000+ employees). This duty is split between multiple Sr. Business Systems Analyst in different office locations. The client is looking for someone who only needs minor oversight and can take the lead for the Farmington Hills office. The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will need to be able to set up accounts, order laptops and accessories, set up laptops (image), backup software, and train new employees on some of the specific software if needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide end-user support of PCs (hardware and software), hand-held devices (Android and iPhone), file and print services, HP, Dell, and Lenovo printers and computers
- Assist with PC lab management (inventory, organization, and logistics)
- Assist with procurement requests for hardware, software, and mobile devices
- Perform PC imaging, deployment, and user information migration
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and 3rd party applications
- Data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel and Access
- Lead for Farmington Hills and Ottawa, CA offices, new hire, termination, and PC refresh efforts
- Monitor, reporting, and remediation of workstation issues related to endpoint security metrics
