Job Description

Job Purpose: 

  • Acts as main point of contact for the Business Unit / Division allocated on HR regional activities and programmes working closely with and as a conduit between the BU HRBP and Regional HRBPs. 
  • Support Analog and Connectivity BU in EMEA, which primarily is based in the Netherlands, Greece, Israel, and Austria.

Principal Accountabilities: 

  • Acts as a strategic advisor to BU leaders in EMEA on HR-related matters, including workforce planning, talent management, organizational development and other change management activities.  Develops deep understanding of business needs and priorities and creates and implements solutions to HR topics within EMEA.
  • Acts as main point of contact for Global HRBP for EMEA region for the BU / Division allocated. Working in partnership to deliver BU strategy in the region. Ensure regular communication and update to BU HRBP on challenges and trends in region.
  • Collaborates with and leads regional HRBPs in EMEA wide projects for the Business Unit / Division allocated to, through EMEA wide activities such as compensation and performance cycles, organisational changes etc
  • Addresses and resolves complex employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Leads complex region wide/global HR projects as required.
  • Supports/coaches more junior team members.
  • Provides professional advice, coaching & training on all HR matters to people managers & staff.
  • Monitor changes and trends in employment law and best practice to ensure continued compliance and ensures that legal requirements are met in terms of employee relations to appropriately minimize exposure to liability.
  • Implement policies, guidelines, and procedures, and lead on employee performance management, change management and employee engagement.
  • Facilitates employee training and be involved in needs assessments and recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations concerning employment and makes any appropriate filings.

Qualifications

  • Fully qualified and experienced professional.  Experience with multiple countries in EMEA helpful.
  • Typically requires 12+ years of related experience.
  • Works on complex problems of diverse scope and nature, determining own methods and techniques appropriate for the scenario. 
  • Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.  Proven experience in leading/managing complex projects.  May assist more junior staff members with aspects of their job. 
  • Excellent cross-cultural, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Experience using MS-Office and SuccessFactors HR module useful
  • Academic degree in the area of HR Management or other relevant study (business administration, law, psychology).
  • Additional local professional HR qualification beneficial
