Senior Reliability Engineering Manager


Job Description

The Senior Reliability Engineering Manager leads a team of reliability engineers to ensure products meet company and customer reliability requirements. This role is responsible for setting reliability plans, managing qualification activities, and driving timely issue resolution through close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to support overall product quality and business goals.

Additionally, in this role an important objective is to develop a series of best practices in reliability lab operations that will serve as the basis for lab operational practices worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the reliability engineering team to achieve defined reliability and quality objectives.
  • Define and drive reliability strategy, plans, and metrics across the product lifecycle.
  • Own reliability qualification programs, including planning, execution, review, and risk assessment.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve reliability risks and field issues.
  • Ensure reliability requirements, standards, and best practices are consistently applied across projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen product robustness, learning, and execution efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience.
  • Solid experience in product or reliability engineering, preferably within semiconductor, electronics, or related manufacturing industries.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams, with strong people‑management and coaching skills.
  • Strong understanding of reliability qualification concepts, stress testing, failure analysis, and risk assessment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams (Design, Product, Quality, Manufacturing).
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to present reliability status and issues to technical and management audiences.
