Job Description

As a Senior Principal Software Architect, you will play a crucial role in architecting and developing modular software solutions and software tools for Embedded and Automotive applications. You will collaborate with Hardware and Software engineering teams to define and develop scalable, agile software solutions to our customers complex systems

Responsibilities

  • Architect and optimize scalable and modular software solutions for broad customer base across multiple industries
  • Innovative Software solutions for all of Renesas product portfolio including Embedded processing, Automotive and High-performance compute
  • Partner with SW, HW product teams and customers to meet customer requirements for complex systems implementing agile CI/CD techniques
  • Manage SW design & architecture requirements for multiple products and generations of software defined vehicles
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams and vendors to integrate various software components for an integrated SDK that meets customers' needs

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Master's in computer science/Engineer with over 15 years of technical experience in Software Engineering 
  • Solid experience in embedded and especially automotive SW is a MUST
  • Good understanding of SW architecture principles, system level integration and verification is required
  • Excellent collaboration, communication skills with a passion for software development
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • 30% Travel Requirement

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $227,000- $350,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities.  Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
