Senior Master Data Analyst / Production Sustaining Product Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Product Engineer to join our team, with a primary focus on managing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) data and sustaining activities for products already in production. This role requires strong experience with PLM systems, BOM management, and coordination across engineering, manufacturing, and planning teams to ensure product integrity and production continuity.
As a Product Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and lifecycle data, supporting engineering wafer starts, and analyzing production data to address yield and quality issues. The ideal candidate has a background in the semiconductor industry, excellent analytical skills, and is comfortable working under tight deadlines to meet production needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update product Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage product lifecycle data within the PLM system, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with planning and manufacturing teams in the PLM tool to support NPI activities, including foundry/fab tape out (TO) and ensuring a smooth transition from NPI to mass production.
- Initiate engineering wafer start requests to foundry/fab for product tape out, ensuring alignment with engineering project requirements.
- Track and manage engineering inventory, including wafer, assembly lots, and finished goods.
- Analyze production and test data to identify yield and quality issues, performing initial problem assessments and collaborating with Senior Engineers, QA, Test, and Design teams for resolution.
- Generate detailed reports from test data to support material disposition decisions at MRB meetings, incorporating feedback from senior engineers as needed.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve yield and quality issues, executing agreed corrective actions as needed.
- Track and report on yield achievements and improvement actions, providing regular updates on project progress and task estimates.
- High-volume production support, hold lot material disposition, key customers report preparation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics, inventory management, supply chain planning, or product engineering within the semiconductor industry.
- Hands-on experience with PLM Agile systems, with strong knowledge of lifecycle management processes, BOM structuring, and data maintenance.
- Basic understanding of IC manufacturing flow, technology, and methodology.
- Experience with VBA, R, or Python for data automation is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with an advanced level of spoken and written English.
- Effective collaborator and team player, capable of multitasking and consistently exceeding expectations.
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
