Quoting Analyst
Renesas is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quoting Analyst to join our dynamic sales operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support new business opportunities by preparing and managing new quotations, ensuring target Gross Profit (GP) levels are achieved.
- Monitor and control quote prices for established business to maintain profitability.
- Develop a solid understanding of the Renesas distributor and end-customer market landscape.
- Partner with dedicated outside sales representatives to drive and win business with distributors.
- Serve as the key internal contact for distributors regarding all pricing and quoting-related requests.
- Process and confirm Request for Quotes (RFQs) from distributors, providing accurate pricing via internal quoting tools.
- Negotiate pricing both internally (with the business development team) and externally (with distributors).
- Verify the validity of existing quote conditions and manage quote extensions when required.
- Conduct follow-ups on provided quotes, including regular Point of Sale (POS) checks.
- Contribute to improving quote turnaround times and increasing overall quote hit rates.
- Handle claims management and pricing adjustments in collaboration with distributors.
- Provide administrative support for direct cost/distributor cost (DC) updates, product category changes, and channel inventory and quote updates.
- Support contract handling and assist distributors with administrative or documentation requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Prior experience in quoting, sales operations or similar field.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good computer skills (MSOffice, especially Excel), good knowledge of SAP would be an advantage
- Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
- A team player with high level of dedication
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English
