The Operations Engineering Division (OED) is the central team that supports all Business Unit Design and Development teams, and other organizations including Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Foundry Operations, and Test.
OED provides a platform for managing all process technology and PDK development for both Internal and External Foundry processes. This strong and highly qualified team (mostly MS/PhD) add strength in developing Test Technology, Foundry Operations, and Yield management. The team’s world-class contributions lead to aggressive NPI strategies and continual cost and gross margin improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the improvement of the OED team through process definition, auditing actions and follow up, and management review actions recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with OED key process owners to ensure their processes have Visio flows, Word procedures, Excel forms, and PPT training materials (as needed). Load approved versions into OED’s Modern SharePoint.
- Participate in OED process audits and ensure actions taken are complete, effective, and permanent per due dates; and shared.
- Facilitate quarterly OED Management Review, take minutes and actions, and ensure actions are acted upon per due dates.
- Use verbal and written communication skills to connect with OED Quality stakeholders and colleagues and ensure requested deliverables are provided on schedule.
- Align with manager’s goals and initiatives to meet agreed-upon KPIs.
- Progressing towards a Bachelor’s in: Quality or Industrial Engineer.
- Minimum GPA 3.2
- Candidate MUST be located in Austin or near Austin.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Coursework or experience in Quality.
- Education or ability in statistics and experience using a statistical software package.
- Familiarity with SharePoint Workflow, Visio, PowerBI, and other relevant software applications
