Job Description

Role Overview:

Renesas Electronics is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead an Agile PLM Implementation, which supports a larger ERP program. For this Agile PLM Implementation, the Design Phase is nearly completed. As Project Manager, you will guide the Build and subsequent phases of the project, and support in the overall alignment with the ERP Project. This role involves managing a project across our operations primarily in the USA, with occasional travel to Europe and Southeast Asia if needed. You will be reporting to the Program Director of the overall IT program. Besides this, you will work closely with the PMO Team and liaise between Business Leads and IT Organization including implementation partners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage the Agile PLM implementation project, ensuring alignment with business goals and project/program objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Team Management: Coordinate and manage project teams, including internal staff, consultants, and external vendors.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels for transparency and alignment.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve project issues and conflicts.
  • Change Management: Implement and manage change control processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Project Management Expertise: Proven experience managing large-scale PLM implementations, preferably Agile PLM, in a global context. Understanding of Agile PLM functionalities and best practices are a plus.
  • Leadership: Leadership skills with the ability to guide diverse, cross-functional teams.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic project plans that align with organizational goals and the ERP Program.
  • Problem Solving: Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach to addressing challenges.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Management Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA-D or similar certification is preferred.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel within USA (and potentially South East Asia and Europe if needed) for 1 to 2 weeks per month to support project activities.

Additional Information

Working Conditions:

  • This is an international role requiring flexibility in working hours to accommodate different time zones.
  • Occasional travel is required, primarily within the USA, with trips to Europe and Southeast Asia as needed for 1 or 2 weeks per month.
