Program Manager - Software Engineering

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) is responsible for overseeing software development projects, ensuring successful delivery, and coordinating cross-functional teams. This role requires a solid technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and effective leadership abilities. 

• Project Management: Lead end-to-end software development projects, from planning to deployment. 

• Technical Expertise: Leverage your software engineering background to understand technical requirements, challenges, and solutions. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to align project goals. 

• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring project success. 

• Budgeting and Metrics: Monitor project performance, track budgets, and measure key performance indicators. 

• Communication: Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 

• Leadership: Coordinate large teams over extended periods, fostering collaboration and productivity

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 
• Proficiency with project management software tools. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills. 
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). 
• Strong understanding of project/program management techniques. 
• Proven experience as a TPM or similar role.

The Software & Digitalization organization is chartered to enable our customers to design & develop solutions in our next-gen cloud-based web IDE using the entire portfolio of Renesas products. We are a global and multi-disciplinary team with in-depth knowledge of our broad portfolio ranging from microcontrollers and microprocessors, connectivity, memory, analog, power, and everything in between. Our Cloud-based platform provides solutions to customers ranging from block diagrams and architectures to working proof of concept designs, all depending on what level of integration and support a customer requires.

Software & Digitalization organization is seeking a motivated and experienced Test Automation & Validation Engineers to take our solutions to the next level. This person will play a key role in developing and performing software testing for our cloud platform. In this role, you will design test cases and protocols to verify software functionality using numerous testing methods including functional, integration and system testing. Within SW&D org, we have the power and capability to make these a reality in the best interest of our customers.
