Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Interface with internal Renesas engineers, partners, and customers to capture technical challenges and system requirements.
  • Translate Requirements: Convert customer system needs—including VR performance, configuration, control, and user experience—into actionable engineering and design specifications.
  • Generate Technical Collateral: Author and maintain critical technical documentation, including product requirement documents (PRDs), system use cases, and basic API definitions.
  • Evaluate Trade-offs: Work closely with marketing and design teams to evaluate and quantify trade-offs between feature integration and development schedules.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience: A minimum of 5–8 years of semiconductor and systems experience (specifically within power electronics or power management ICs).
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of multiphase DC/DC converters powering high-current ASICs or Intel/AMD/ARM processor systems.
  • System Exposure: Experience contributing to the technical definition or application support of hardware and/or software products.
  • Programming: Proficiency in Python, C, or other scripting languages for data analysis and system modeling.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly document complex technical specifications.
