Principal Test Engineer(Power Management IC products)

As  you will play a crucial role in delivering world class test solutions with high quality and low cost of test for a fast growing business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing test plans, test cases, DFT, and test procedures based on product specifications and requirements by working with other functional team members.
• Implementing ATE test solutions for final test, characterization, WT in both engineering and production.
• Developing new approaches to test by improving methodologies.
• Deliver test programs in languages such as C, or C++ to automate test processes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including design engineers, manufacturing teams, and quality assurance (QA) teams to address technical issues and optimize testing processes.
• Analyzing test results, identifying trends, troubleshooting issues, and generating detailed test reports and documentation.
• Staying updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in semiconductor testing methodologies.
• Mentoring of junior engineers
• Working with other functional senior leads to identify the best approach to test and drive improved processes and methodologies.
• Establish test milestones and schedules and risk assessments for them.
• Able to use strong analog fundamentals to troubleshoot
• Develop HW board designs
• Excellent communication skills

 【Must】

• Test Engineer with 4+ Years experience developing hardware and software at Wafer Sort and Final Test for Power Management IC products.
• A strong understanding of board design software(Cadence, Orcad, Altium, etc)
• Understand and apply best practices to develop robust test solutions at the lowest cost.
• Experienced with various test deliverables like GR&R, Sampling, Qual, Characterization, Production Test
• Self-starter, motivated, takes initiative, and able to work independently.
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in electrical, computer engineering or other degree with adequate coursework in electronics, physics, etc.

【Want】

• Experience using Advantest 93k, Eagle, SPEA, Cohu Diamondx or equivalent tester.
• Experience using I2C, I3C, and SPI protocol as well as trim implementations for power IC products.
• Experience in working with Automotive IC’s is a plus.
