Job Purpose:
- We are seeking a highly skilled WiFi Soc RF Test and Measurement Engineer with a strong background in LabVIEW programming and a deep understanding of RFIC and SoC measurement techniques. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automating measurements, optimizing performance, and possessing comprehensive knowledge of RF concepts.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Must have:
- Develop and implement automated measurement setups using LabVIEW for RFIC and SoC characterization, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Expertise in RFIC receiver input matching, transmitter output matching, and power amplifier matching techniques to enhance overall system performance.
- Possess strong fundamental knowledge of RF principles, coupled with the ability to comprehend measurement equipment and their applications.
- Apply comprehensive understanding of concepts such as S-parameters, noise figure (NF), gain, matching, linearity (IIP3, IIP2), phase noise, and EVM to interpret measurement results effectively.
- Demonstrate proficiency in RF component basics, including LNAs, mixers, VCOs, PLLs, drive amplifiers, power amplifiers, RF filters, and antennas.
- Utilize Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators to conduct accurate measurements and analyze data.
- Apply your in-depth understanding of WiFi system standards to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
- Contribute your expertise in RF and analog circuitry to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate RF components and ensure successful product validation.
