Principal Process Engineer

The Principal Process Engineer works closely with internal business and R&D teams along with Operations Package Engineering and external OSTATs to develop state of the art power packaging at or exceeding cost targets. 

Responsibilities:

• This role will directly report to the Sr Director of Power Packaging Technology within the Power Products Group (PWR).
• Collaborate closely with each PWR BU and provide package technology solutions and roadmap to meet the BU requirements including cost and timing.
• Collaborate with Renesas Operations team as well as external partners to full fill PWR process roadmap requirements and timelines. These efforts may include  new device design, TCAD feasibility, and process integration.

• BS or preferably MS/PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• At least 10 years working with power process technology preferably in a product group
• Knowledge on power process technology and market trends.
• Experience working in collaboration with external foundries
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
