Principal Engineer (f/m/d)

Renesas is seeking a Principal Engineer for the development of integrated circuit products, in a high-growth area of our business. This is an excellent opportunity to participate in driving Renesas’s growth. It will also be an opportunity to collaborate with other product lines to position Renesas for continued growth.

What we need:

We are looking for a driven, creative, and highly motivated individual with product development experience in the semiconductor industry. This position requires strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across functional disciplines in support of delivery products to the market. Success requires a clear understanding of the full lifecycle of semiconductor product development and support. The position requires international travel from time to time.

What You’ll do

• Define, develop, and support integrated circuit products
• Work with a large, cross-functional IC development team, including systems engineering, IC design, validation, product engineering, test engineering, application engineering, and other functions.
• Create and support related tools and interfaces.
• Drive and collaborate in the definition of proprietary and standardized interfaces for application-specific standard products.

• BSEE or higher degree of engineering/science with a proven background in semiconductor product development
• 15+ years of relevant experience in system modeling & communication.
• Curious and willing to challenge existing solutions with innovative technology concepts based on systematic problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English with great intercultural, social and communication skills in order to work in distributed international and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel abroad (up to 25% of time).
