Job Description

Our high-performing legal team is looking for someone who is as driven, adaptable, and passionate as we are about the work this dynamic and challenging industry demands.  Sitting in 20+ countries, our internal clients rely on us for support in developing, producing, promoting, and selling exciting, cutting-edge technology solutions all around the world.  

Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including joint development, distribution, vendor, sales and logistics, service, IP license, partnership, and more.
  • Counsel business teams on a range of legal topics, including intellectual property, corporate governance, commercial law, competition, and other legal and regulatory areas.
  • Collaborate with the global legal team to develop and implement best practices and policies in the areas of contracting, licensing, corporate governance, and compliance.
  • Assist with special projects at all levels of Renesas

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and license in at least one U.S. state bar (preferably California or New York).
  • 1-3+ years of experience at a top law firm or similar in-house role.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Good judgment with an understanding of when to ask for guidance or input, and how to spot and solve issues.
  • Cooperative attitude and an affinity for working with others to get the job done.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Information

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $55 to $60 Please note that the final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skill set of the candidate.
