JOB SUMMARY
Responsible in administering and processing overall employees’ payroll including benefits compensation and statutory deduction/payments to eligible employees and/or relevant Statutory Bodies. The role is also responsible in maintaining and monitoring HRIS (i.e SFront/SAP) and other related HR system to process the payroll accurately and timely as per the Company’s policy and schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and generate overall employees payroll and ensure it is accurate and timely payout to employees as per the Company’s schedule and policy
- Monitor, verify and communicate to relevant employees on payroll preparation pending information and requirements through Employee Self Services (ESS) and/or Manager Self Service (MSS)
- Update employee data for new hires in the Payroll system and update changes on payroll information and personal details (i.e tax category, new salary and allowances, etc) to ensure salary payout is current and accurate.
- Administer and monitor HRIS system accuracy, efficiency and capability. To liaise with relevant system vendor/Supplier on any discovered issues to avoid operational disruption
- Liaise with relevant Government and statutory Bodies on payroll payment and/or statutory payments and deductions (i.e Banks, EPF, LHDN, SOCSO, PTPTN, Zakat, YAPEIM, etc) to be made before the due date (i.e latest by 15th of each month for statutory payments)
- Monitor and check weekly on employee attendance, overtime and leave recorded by attendance system and/or HR System (i.e SFront/SAP)
- Prepare and provide analysis and report related to payroll and compensation as and when required by the Company
POSITION/JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Social Science, Business Admin or related field from recognized Higher Institution
Skills & knowledge Required
- Strong knowledge in payroll processing and benefits administration
- Strong knowledge in Statutory Acts (i.e EPF, SOCSO, LHDN, etc), Employment Act 1955, and other related HR Acts.
- Good knowledge in using payroll system (i.e SFront/SAP, etc) and other related HR system.
- Strong knowledge and skills in MS Excel & data analysis
- Strong knowledge and skills in administering HR software
Experience
- At least 2 - 3 years overall experiences in processing employees payroll
- Experience in processing large payroll (i.e >1000 employees) would be an added advantage
