Job Description

HPC MCU Business Development Broader market and distribution – As part of the business development team for broader market and distribution, the successful candidate will be able to cooperate with Regional Sales/FAEs and their distributors to expand 32-bit MCU businesses, identify new potential market, and create winning strategies for targeted markets/customers.

She/he is required also to work closely with 32-bit MCU Product and Ecosystem Marketing colleagues to understand latest 32Bits MCU portfolio as well as marketing collaterals available for targeted market and be able to adjust marketing materials, present it to Regional Sales, FAEs, distributors and sometimes customers, and answering routine questions about MCUs on both technical and business sides. She/he will also be expected to point out gaps and future needs in terms of products, marketing materials and strategy in the assigned market so that he can optimize the growth of the company.

Job Duties

  • Promote marketing strategy, roadmap, marketing collateral (promotional and training) of 32-bit microcontroller products to regional sales/FAE/distribution team.
  • Take ownership of engagements with regional sales/FAE/distribution team to increase design-ins, improve demand creation, finding new market and maximize market share.
  • Ensure proper customer/project support by Regional and distribution FAEs and help to prioritize support activities of product line applications engineers when necessary.
  • Report market, competition analysis and benchmarking for the best positioning of our solutions or creation of new solutions on assigned market.
  • Communicate effectively with management to report critical technical or business issues.

Qualifications

  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years or a Masters in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of industry experience in microcontrollers or related applications engineering.
  • Strong marketing and analytical skills complemented strategic thinking.
  • Experience with automotive customers and applications is desired.
  • Self-driven, strongly motivated individual capable of taking full ownership of his activities and involving other functions in the company or management when needed to bring them to a successful outcome.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and comfort in presenting to a wide range of audiences, including to the executive team. Must be comfortable presenting technical topics to a technically savvy and demanding audience. Capable of communicating issues in a concise and effective way.
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with customers and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Occasional domestic and international travel will be required.
