Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

Maintenance Engineer setup new equipment, maintains and troubleshoots semiconductor assembly and inspection equipment to ensure high uptime and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Setup & Testing: Set up new test equipment, configure equipment flow strategies, optimize automated testing and inspection systems to improve productivity, quality and yield.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and fix issues on automated test equipment (ATE), or machine hardware, finding permanent solutions to prevent recurring failures.
• Maintenance & Stability: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibrations, and machine conversions to keep downtime low and equipment efficiency high.
• Quality & Support: Analyze customer failure samples alongside the QA team, develop corrective action plans, and train technician groups on daily repair work.
• Performance & Reliability Tracking: Monitor equipment performance, stability, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) to minimize unplanned downtime.

• Fresh Graduate in Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
• Experience in semiconductor backend manufacturing (test lines) with hands-on exposure to vision-based or automated inspection equipment.
