The Electrical/Electronics Technician will work to perform assembly, maintenance, and calibration of electronic components in the laboratory environment, assist in setting up test rigs, and contribute to maintaining the laboratory's organization.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Identification and assembly of electronic components (BGA, 0402 package, etc.).
- Utilization and maintenance of laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, power supplies, etc.).
- Assisting in setting up test rigs and supporting test & validation process.
- Preparing requests for the purchase of necessary materials and equipment for the laboratory.
- Maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Performing calibration of lab equipment.
- Conducting cabling and general laboratory tasks.
- Tracking incoming and outgoing materials and equipment in the laboratory and ensuring inventory control.
- Support the development of the documentation, hardware and software collateral required to enable a comprehensive silicon device evaluation.
- Support the development of improvements to the evaluation flow.
- Via the Apps Engineers or Apps Lead, support customers with product related issues during their design-in and ramp phases.
- Interface to Design Engineering, Test Engineering, Product Engineering and Quality Engineering as needed to support product issues.
- Minimum high school diploma in Electrical/Electronics Technology or a related field.
- Associate degree in related fields is preferred.
Proficiency in English.
