As the Chief of Staff for the Analog & Connectivity Product Group, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of the department and supporting our mission of transforming the way that customers design solutions.
You will be the right-hand person to the Sr. VP of Analog & Connectivity, helping to shape the design of the organization, the department's strategic direction, streamline operations, and drive initiatives that promote growth and innovation.
Key responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Sr. VP of Analog & Connectivity and key stakeholders to develop and execute departmental strategies, goals, and objectives. Assist in long-term planning and decision-making processes.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage key projects within the department, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate project teams and resources as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Sr. VP of Analog & Connectivity and various stakeholders, including internal teams, external partners, and executives. Facilitate effective communication and alignment on strategic initiatives.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to departmental performance, market trends, and industry best practices. Provide insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Meeting Preparation: Prepare materials, presentations, and reports for executive meetings, ensuring that the Sr. VP of Analog & Connectivity is well-informed and prepared for discussions and decisions.
- Resource Allocation: Assist in resource allocation, including budgeting, staffing, and technology investments, to support departmental goals.
- Take responsibility for a wide range of ad hoc activities on behalf of the Sr. VP of Analog & Connectivity, enabling them to scrutinize and prioritize tasks that require their focus.
- Help direct reports of the Sr. VP of Analog & Connectivity and their teams interpret, understand, and carry out the vision and strategic intent.
- Broad knowledge of the semi-conductor environment.
- Help the Sr. VP of Analog & Connectivity prioritize projects and business activity.
- Exercise exceptional discretion with confidential information to keep the Sr. VP of Analog & Connectivity apprised of what is going on across the organization and, where possible, keep the organization aware of what is going on at the top.
- Provide analysis, recommendations, and options regarding decisions to be made or problems to be solved.
- Attend and facilitate complex, cross-departmental discussions to ensure that good decisions are reached. Be capable and willing to challenge those more senior and ensure that decisions are carried out.
- Serve as a thought partner to the Sr. VP of Analog & Connectivity, offering the Sr. VP of Analog & Connectivity and their direct reports perspectives they may not see, uncovering or helping the team to uncover new possibilities and challenging ideas before they are brought to action.
What We Are Looking For?
Key Attributes:
- Ideal candidates will have 12 + years of experience in the semiconductor or related field with transferable skills and experience.
- Educational requirements – bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and / or electronics desired. MBA beneficial to strategic alignment with the role.
- Located in the US
- Willing to travel - 20 to 30 % of the time.

In addition to the job description above, the following key points are also noteworthy:
- Candidates at Director and Senior Director level are the most realistic targets. Ideally, candidates will have some leadership experience, with a track record of managing P&L. We are looking for someone who can potentially take on a VP title and responsibility over the next few years.
- Relevant candidates for the role will have a global / international mindset with the ability to facilitate and steer conversations related to transformation and strategy. They must be capable of acting as a number 2 to the VP – they need to question, probe, challenge and support in an appropriate manner.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $242,000 - $363,000. This position is also eligible for bonus pay. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience, and skillset of the candidate.
