Business Development Representative


Job Description

A Day in The Life of a Business Development Representative:

  • Execute and deliver on defined KPIs.

  • Organize and execute specialized projects such as call-out campaigns, data updates and drive customer engagement.

  • Qualify new accounts, establish and extract value for Altium.

  • Uncover, review, and qualify sales leads created and received from multiple sources.

  • Collaborate with sales and technical team members to meet and exceed team objectives.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities in Altium’s Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.

  • Learn and maintain knowledge of Altium products and technologies, competitive products, and industry trends.

  • Develop new lead opportunities by collecting information that includes business pains/needs, timelines, authority and project teams, budget, competitive information, etc.

  • Supporting customers and prospects to find the most suitable Altium platform.


Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and German as well as Spanish and / or French.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of inside sales experience in Software Sales is strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 2+ years of Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of PCB or embedded software is highly preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and efficiently.

  • High degree of flexibility and the ability to quickly adapt to changes in a dynamic environment.

  • Outstanding organization and time management skills are a must.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Effective and articulate communications clearly and concisely, checking to ensure that messages have been understood. Gains influence by the effective use of information, targeting their communication to meet the information needs of their audiences.

  • Be a self-motivated, thorough, passionate, articulate team player with a positive attitude.
