Job Description

The System Engineering division is on the lookout for an exceptional Senior System Engineer with a focus on Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, particularly in the realms of Point of Sale (POS) systems, Internet of Things (IoT), and Wireless Charging (WLC). This pivotal role centers around providing essential support in electronic lab measurements for NFC device characterization. The position requires a candidate with meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in sophisticated measurement apparatus, ensuring that data interpretation aligns with our uncompromising commitment to product excellence and dependability. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the execution of comprehensive electronic lab measurements for advanced device characterization, ensuring meticulous data collection for in-depth analysis. 

  • Employ sophisticated measurement techniques to pinpoint and resolve complex issues with device performance, leveraging a master's degree and extensive experience in the NFC domain. 

  • Drive collaborative efforts with the engineering team to innovate and enhance measurement procedures and protocols, drawing on a rich background in system engineering. 

  • Engage with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate measurement results into comprehensive system designs, contributing to the development of cutting-edge NFC applications. 

  • Author detailed technical reports documenting procedures and findings, catering to the nuanced requirements of both internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Offer expert technical guidance and mentorship to team members, nurturing a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the organization.

This position is subject to the Collective Agreement of the Electrical and Electronics Industry, employment group G (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). 

The monthly salary is paid 14 times a year. However, we offer a higher salary depending on your experience and qualifications. 


Qualifications

Essential Skills and Qualifications: 

  • A master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field, with a specialized focus on electronic measurements and a minimum of five years of experience in the NFC area. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in a laboratory environment, with a strong track record in electronic device testing and characterization. 

  • In-depth knowledge of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, its applications in device engineering, and a history of contributing to significant advancements in the field. 

  • Advanced proficiency in utilizing lab measurement tools and software, coupled with an agile approach to adopting new technologies and equipment. 

  • An analytical mindset geared towards proactive problem-solving, capable of independent operation and efficient management of complex, multi-faceted tasks. 

  • Expertise in programming languages such as Java, C/C++ for the automation of measurement processes, reflecting a high level of technical acumen.
