Principal Accountabilities:
- Good understanding of semiconductor device operation (MOSFET, LDMOS, Bipolar, Diodes, Passives)
- Experience or good understanding of CMOS process flow/modules, Device construction, Device layout and process interaction with device electrical characteristics.
- Experience or good understanding of using measurement equipment to measure electrical characteristics.
- Experience or good understanding of extracting parameters from measured data.
- Maintain lab equipment and documentation.
- Ability to handle and analyse Electrical device parameters using scripts and/or data analysis tools.
- Some knowledge compact device models (BSIM4, BSIM IMG etc.) and SPICE simulations.
- Produce high quality documentation and reports for various process group requirements.

- Demonstrate excellent technical, communication, presentation, interaction and interpersonal skills to support a globally diverse team.
- Accurate documentation, precise communications, timely progress reporting while highlighting risks, issues and problems.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement of technical, non-technical skills measured through manager review.
- Demonstrate ability to build effective relationships with relevant stakeholders across the company.
- Display quick learning skills, drive, confidence and teamwork in this role.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Preferably 0 -2 years of experience or new graduate with good background in Semiconductors
- Familiarity or experience in schematic simulation tools and/or backend verification (LVS/DRC/PEX) using Cadence/Mentor tools
- Good understanding and background in semiconductor device physics, models, processes, simulations and electrical device behaviour
- Some knowledge of webpage scripting tools, VB, Python etc.
- Familiarity or experience in JMP, R, Spotfire, Excel, Matlab or any similar data analysis tool
- Able to apply and follow policy/procedures to address/resolve issues
- Desire and drive for continuous learning and development
- Ability to work in a cross cultural and diverse work environment across different geographical locations.
- Results-oriented and able to deliver on-time under tight schedules
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to undertake occasional international travel at short notice
- Good written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation skills.
- Some basic course level understanding of common Analog/Mixed Signal power management circuit blocks (current mirrors, LDOs, bucks, boosts etc.) is highly desirable.
Qualifications:
- Essential: Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related discipline is required.
- Desirable: Masters or Ph.D. degree in Electronics, Electrical engineering, Physics or any related discipline.
