Administrative Assistant – HSBD SoC (f/m/d)
Renesas is looking for a motivated and well‑organized Administrative Assistant to support the SoC Marketing and Application Engineering teams in Düsseldorf. In this role, you will be a key enabler for the team’s daily work, providing practical administrative, financial, and logistical support with a strong hands‑on mindset.
You will work closely with colleagues in Düsseldorf as well as with global teams in Japan, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Export Control. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, takes ownership, and likes working in an international, technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support purchasing activities end‑to‑end, from coordinating contract reviews and internal approvals to raising purchase requests.
- Track and manage the team’s expense budget, including monthly actuals and forecast updates.
- Coordinate logistics and shipping of boards, materials, and loaner equipment, including required documentation and export control alignment.
- Maintain an overview of loaner tools, inventories, and related agreements.
- Support NDA creation, tracking, and extensions in collaboration with the Legal team.
- Organize business travel and support expense reporting using corporate tools (e.g. SAP Concur).
- Support local office organization and site‑specific administrative activities in Düsseldorf.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in an administrative, office support, or coordination role — formal education is welcome, but practical experience and motivation matter most.
- A structured, reliable working style with a strong sense of ownership.
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office 365; experience with Concur, SAP, or Ariba is a plus, but not a must.
- Fluent German and English, written and spoken.
Personal Strengths
- Naturally well organized and detail‑oriented.
- Comfortable working independently while staying closely connected to the team.
- Clear and friendly communicator who enjoys working with different stakeholders.
- Service‑minded, proactive, and willing to learn.
- A positive team player who reflects Renesas values in everyday work.
