Accounting and Control Senior Manager
Renesas is seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Accounting & Tax Senior Manager cum Chief Accountant position. The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting activities. This role ensures compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), EPE regulations, tax laws, and internal corporate policies while supporting business operations and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Financial Control
- Manage and supervise daily accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, cost accounting, and inventory accounting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with VAS and corporate reporting requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management and headquarters
Tax & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations (CIT, PIT, WHT, QDMTT)
- Prepare and review timely, monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings
- Act as the main contact with tax authorities, customs authorities, and internal/external auditors during inspections and audits
Reporting & Business Support
- Perform budget, forecast vs. actual analysis and variance reporting
- Provide accurate financial data to support management decision-making
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with internal and global teams.
- Optimize accounting processes and ERP utilization to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Must have :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Chief Accountant (MOF accredited)
- Minimum 12 years of experience as Chief Accountant role in FDI or EPE environment.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax laws, customs regulations, and EPE compliance
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English (good communication/reporting to foreign management)
- ERP proficiency (Exact is a plus)
Nice to have :
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification
