Reporting Solutions Architect (Japan)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Reporting Solutions Architect to join our global AI, Data & Analytics team to help deliver data solutions.  You will be the expert and champion for promoting the use of our data technologies throughout Renesas globally.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient report solutions that meet the requirements and business needs of our stakeholders.  You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, architect solutions, and ensure successful implementation and delivery of projects.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for reporting and analytics
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to stakeholders
• Actively promote the use of reporting technologies
• Work closely with Data Engineering team to implement data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data transformation necessary for reporting
• Stay current on the latest industry trends, developments, and best practices related to reporting, analytics, and business intelligence

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or more than 3 years of related experience
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Data Architect or similar role with a focus on reporting and analytics
• Ability to gather and interpret business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Detailed understanding of Power BI, DAX, Power M language, and data modeling techniques
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases

• Certification in Power BI or other data visualization tools
• Experience in other BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or SSRS
• Experience in data warehousing, ETL, or data integration
• Knowledge of data analysis and statistics
• Experience in agile or scrum methodologies

• Strong communication skills, whiteboarding skills, and ability to clearly communicate well in both written and spoken English.
• Japanese language fluency is mandatory
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Able to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and willing to take challenges
• Willing to work in different time zones when needed as many of our colleagues and business users are in different offices in the world
