Title:  Senior Procurement Specialist

The Procurement function is responsible for the commercial contacts with Direct Material suppliers, the analysis of product cost in order to support the decision-making process of the global manufacturing department. This role will play a key role in achieving world class cost and to provide the business units with adequate and correct product cost calculations.

The Job

• Category Management
  • Responsible for management of suppliers in the allocated category
  • Ensure that the suppliers in the category align with the business requirements.
  • Work with the technical counterparts to communicate requirements to suppliers.
• Supplier commercial contact
  • For assigned suppliers be the commercial contact.
  • Manage Request for Information (RFI) / Request for Quotation (RFQ) process,
  • Quotation management ensure up-to-date pricing information in Cost Calculation / simulation tools and ERP system.
  • Supplier Claim management, prepare and follow-up claims with suppliers.
• Account manager for Business Unit(s)
  • Provide Business Case support by product cost simulations.
  • Reverse engineering cost calculations
  • COGS material budget & Margin simulations
• Compliance
  • Execute compliance checks as required.
• Cost analysis and control
  • Perform benchmarking analysis for responsible spend category.
  • Purchase Price Variance analysis and reporting
  • Conduct Cost reviews (eg: Yield & Test Time review)
• Support Global Procurement team.

You Profile

• A completed Bachelor's Degree in a related field required
• Experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or related field required
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English required.
• SAP knowledge is recommended
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent in working with Excel (executing complex analytics in Excell)
• Process oriented and structured in thinking and execution
• Experience in semiconductor industry
