Software Methodology group is on a mission to provide global software offering for software development teams within Renesas to improve their code quality and enable them to collaborate globally. This includes not only the necessary tooling around task & bug tracking, source code management, code scanning, CI/CD, and OSS compliance but also methodology to improve software process quality.
 

The Role
 

  • Work with engineering and software development teams understanding their business needs to design technical solutions based on the requirements and constraints 
  • Understand and support the company's internal software development processes in all aspects, and guide stakeholders to ease up adoption of new services and methodologies
  • Adequately understand the functional area of responsibilities, build a sense of ownership of the key deliverables, and provide optimal, scalable and complete solutions based on stakeholder needs
  • Administer and support the software development tools landscape such as Atlassian toolchain (e.g., Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket) and CI/CD systems
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to roll out new developer services and maintain the already running production services with timely patches and upgrades

 

What We Are Looking For
 

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience
  • DevOps methodology background with tools administration experience
  • Experience with Atlassian toolchain (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
  • Expert knowledge in CI/CD tools specially in Jenkins
  • Advanced skills in version control systems: GIT and SVN
  • Programming experience with Python and/or C, Java is desirable
  • Scripting experience in Linux environments
  • General experience in Linux administration is desirable
  • Bachelor or master’s degree with relevant background (Computer, IT, Science…)
  • Fluent in English language
  • Be a team player
