Responsibilities:

  • Validation and characterization of mixed-signal timing circuits used in synchronization and networking applications, including but not limited to optical networking, Routers, switches and baseband units
  • Set design validation strategies, develop measurement techniques and generate test-benches for digital timing circuits
  • Lab Bench and ATE evaluation and correlation for production release
  • Work closely with digital/analog designers, applications engineers, and manufacturing test to support both pre-silicon verification and post silicon validation efforts

 

Requirements:

  • BSEE or equivalent experience (MSEE preferred) with 5+ years' experience in relevant industry
  • New graduates and students will be considered for this role
  • Experience in scripting skills with Python
  • PCB design and simulation
  • PCB signal integrity
  • Understanding of Analog / Digital phase Locked Loops (APLL / DPLL) and signal processing
  • Hands-on experience with engineering lab equipment and test techniques required for digital validation.  Timing equipment such as logic analyzer, high speed oscilloscopes, TIA’s, pulse generators and power supplies
  • Understanding of statistical techniques
  • Understanding of transistor-level digital circuit design and of IC semiconductor fabrication processes is recommended
  • Knowledge of FPGA implementation, RTL, and Verilog HDL is recommended
  • Effective communication skills, flexibility, a strong teamwork approach, and the desire to work in a fast-paced aggressive environment are necessary
