The Role

Renesas is a global semiconductor leader in microcontrollers, analog, power and SoC products delivering embedded design innovation to shape a limitless future.  The Program Manager for Timing Products Division is a critical role in insuring successful new product introduction for a number of industry leading semiconductor chips for applications including 5G Infrastructure and Data Center Applications.  You will support the engagement with engineering design, marketing, validation team, product and test engineering teams and from pre concept phase to develop and deliver the most competitive and best in the world. The person in this role needs to be a natural leader and facilitator; be driven, organized and detail oriented; excel in program/project management; thrive in an ambiguous environment; is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts; manages through relationships and influence: and displays grace under fire.

What You’ll Work On

  • Primary internal point of contact for assigned programs.  Works with cross functional groups throughout the organization to maintain visibility and support of projects under management.
  • Develop and manage project schedules with engineering and cross functional teams and communicate project status to stakeholders and management.
  • Work with engineering, product, marketing, finance and rest of the operations functions like planning, foundry engineering, test engineering, product engineering, application engineering, proto teams, logistics, etc. to create a product development and launch plan that meets the market and business needs.
  • Closely work with applications / test and operations teams to help support customer samples.
  • Driving critical path schedule tasks.
  • Develop pre-launch and ramp build plans with metrics that lead the team to work strategically and efficiently. Pivotal metrics are schedule, cost, quality, availability and order cycle time.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of relevant project management or program management experience
  • Ability to converse intelligently with cross-functional team
  • Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly in email and on conference calls
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Knowledge of Oracle’s Agile PLM and Jira software is a plus
  • Experience with MS Suite – Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project
  • BSSE in Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to work remotely. Once back to office rules are established, in office presence may be required.
