Job Description:

  • Work with state of the art wireless power technology and power management ICs
  • Support product development life cycle from conception to release. This involves interfacing with multiple functional teams such as design, test, quality and other engineering groups
  • Develop production and characterization test plans and specifications
  • Design and debug hardware and software for lab validation and qualification purposes
  • Perform bench testing to measure various device parameters in the lab for design verification, characterization and correlation
  • Analyze measurement results and correlate the measurement between ATE and bench
  • Support device level and package qualification activities
  • Support failure analysis team with any qualification related failures or customer returns

 

Qualifications:

  • Interested and experienced in analog and mixed signal circuit technology and measurement techniques 
  • Knowledge of semiconductor device theory and power electronics
  • Proficiency with using basic lab test equipment (e.g. DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.)
  • Interested or experienced in basic hardware debug
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in product development preferred
  • Experience with LabVIEW (or MATLAB) is a plus
  • Experience with a PCB schematic and layout capture tool such as Allegro is a plus
  • Experience with a data analysis tool is a plus
  • Experience with automotive product development and procedures is a plus
  • Familiarity with failure analysis techniques and procedures is a plus

 

Education

A technology-related bachelor's degree in electrical engineering field or equivalent training and 1-3 years of related experience. An advanced degree may substitute for some years of related experience
