Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

Overall responsible for managing and executing all HR operations activities related to employees Total Rewards which comprises of compensations and benefits, payroll management, HRIS systems, employees appraisal and other special projects or initiatives related to Total Rewards execution. The role is also responsible for planning, administering and executing strategy of Recruitment including manpower planning and employees Learning & Development (LeAD) under Total Education Plans of the Company including Talent Management and Competency profiling. Below are the key roles:

  • Review and make necessary recommendations to update any changes of HR related policies in line with labour law and latest Company’s policy
  • Initiate and execute Performance Management Systems/Appraisal Systems as per the REL Corporate HR Direction and/or as per the Company’s Plan. Initiate and 9.
  • Prepare, recommend and coordinate proposal for employees compensation and recognition such as annual increment, bonus (STI), promotions, etc., to be presented to the Top Management including prepare Compensation and  study to ensure overall total rewards are competitive
  • Manage, monitor and verify overall payroll accuracy, timeliness and performance efficiency including statutory payments and other related payroll
  • Manage and ensure the team is able to achieve its overall recruitment plan and initiatives in terms of lead time, quality of candidates and within specific salary range of the job grade. Also to ensure appropriate recruitment tools and methodology are executed as per the Company’s guidelines (i.e personal profiling analysis, technical test and any other recruitment assessment
  • Monitor implementation of the Visa Application Process for Japanese Expatriate are carried as per approval and coordinate within reasonable timeframe.
  • Plan, execute and administer overall Learning and Development (LeAD) programs identified in the Training plans and framework. Work closely with HODs and technical lead for technical and operators trainings. Also responsible to ensure effectiveness of the training program and provide necessary analysis and recommendation for improvement
  • Prepare all necessary analysis and report for manpower, training and education, HR budget and other related areas of analysis and reporting under the portfolios for next course of actions and improvement

Job Specification & Qualification

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Management from recognize higher Institution
  • At least 8 – 10 years in Human Resources experience with at least 5 years in Managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge in Employment Act, Statutory Act and Industrial relations Act.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in training needs, employees development and recruitment
  • Strong Analytical skills, people skills and multi-tasking
  • Good business writing both English and Malay
  • Passionate about HR initiatives, managing and educate people
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both in English and Malay
