To further strengthen our strategic sales team, we are looking for a highly technical, knowledgeable, and experienced Regional Sales Manager to own revenue growth and design win generation in assigned accounts in the Southern California market. This successful, candidate will have the ability to work with internal sales resources and distribution sales and FAE teams, and excel in the following areas:

  • Driving new design activity and targeted account and overall Regional level
  • Achieving established revenue growth goals
  • Possess analytical skills to accurately track and forecast revenue
  • Speak technically with engineers to design-in technology on new design opportunities
  • Think strategically to focus on the highest growth opportunities and ROI
  • Have the business acumen to grow Renesas in large strategic accounts
  • The ability to grow and foster the relationships across a wide range of customers which include executive leadership, engineering leadership and design engineers

 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Account and territory manager responsible for revenue growth and design funnel growth
  • Direct responsibility for driving new opportunity discovery, design In, and design win revenue conversion in an assigned account base
  • Responsible for accurate forecasting customer revenue monthly
  • Ability to drive design wins directly and through distribution 
  • Work with FAE team to implement customer penetration plan
  • Work closely with factory resources to implement account support as needed
  • Know competition and increase market share to grow deeper at customers in the region
  • Highly motivated to sell solution-based silicon

 

Qualifications:

 

• Proven track record of account penetration via design win and revenue capture 
• Strong Technical Background and a comfort level with presenting broad-based technical solutions at the engineering level
• 10+ years technical selling experience required with a strong direct and distribution track record
• Ability to focus on a targeted list of accounts while also driving distribution and regional activity
• Travel Required - nominal

 

Education:

 

• Engineering degree preferred, EE or CS
