Renesas is seeking a (Senior) Business Development Manager(BDM) in its Industrial Power Products Group(IAP), which provides all power products to serve the wide industrial space, this position will be located in the Renesas Electronics China(Shenzhen office).  


Industrial Power is one of the fastest growing product lines within Renesas with huge potential, to power the new winning combinations of Renesas, former acquired Intersil and the late acquired IDT to fast develop solutions in our target applications.  To fulfill our quick growing product portfolio and product management needs, we are looking for a new (Senior) Business Development Manager to join the team.    




  • Provide technical solutions & quotation support for IAP products.
  • Key interface to Renesas South China sales&FAEs and distributor’s sales&FAEs to provide guidance on products selection and business development. Such as technical support and training through joint customer activity and regular online/off-site training seminars, go deeper in selected key accounts to win more business.
  • Summary product definition ideas for IAP products targeted to China market and make customers survey for the NPI opportunities.
  • Generate market communication materials in local language: sales and marketing promotional collateral and training collateral, including ad copy, press releases, articles, brochures and other print pieces, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Other tasks required by supervisor.



  • Experienced in the field of power management IC sales, field applications, or product marketing.
  • Speaking/Listening English skills and good read/write in English.
  • Self-motivated & capable of working independently.
  • Fast learner on new technology / new applications / new products.
  • Knowledge in system power design with Buck/Boost/Flyback topologies, Such as how to select capacitor/inductor/Mosfet/Diode and Transformer in these topologies.
  • EMC and thermal management skill is preferred.
  • Team work  and can take Domestic travel based on needs, up to 35%




  • BS degree in Engineering; MS is preferred.
  • Requires 3-7 years of professional experience as a sales manager, business development manager, field applications engineer, or marketing engineer/manager in the power management IC or discrete power semiconductor industry, 2 years’ experience on hardware and power design experience is preferred.
