Manager, Product Mktg

Location: Shenzhen or Shanghai, China

 

The marketing manager interfaces with Sales, Product and Design Engineering with a focus on customer application support in China area.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage product and marketing strategy and support roadmap for wireless power charging products.
  • Take ownership of engagements with select wireless power application customers, reference design partners, and collaborate Sales/FAE supporting to increase design-ins, improve demand creation and maximize market share.
  • Analyze the wireless power market and provide inputs to the strategy and new product introduction (NPI).
  • Evaluate opportunities to enter new target customers for wireless charging
  • Perform tactical product marketing functions for targeted set of wireless charging products.
  • Collaborate with different groups and work closely with the systems engineering to drive systems solutions, operations, product management, R&D, and ensure WPC (Wireless Power Consortium) compliance.
  • Own the creation, positioning, dissemination of product marketing collateral (promotional and training) with tools on the web, via sales and distribution channels.
  • Develop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses.
  • Perform product demonstrations at trade shows, online seminars, and other events.
  • Manage pricing and revenue forecasting.

  

Requirements:

  • Over 7+ years’ experience in the semiconductor industry with high exposure to consumer electronics, power management and/or wireless charging technologies
  • Work experience with global customers, partners and collaboration with internal teams
  • Involvement in NPI teams driving and creating leading edge devices.
  • Experience in introducing new power management products to a variety of markets
  • Experienced in leading/coaching cross-functional and international teams
  • Analytical capabilities
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Team player, organized, disciplined, persistent and motivated
  • International and frequent domestic travel required
  • Takes ownership and has a high level of integrity
