The Business Operations Director is a key role with responsibility for all aspects of sales operations, including the tactical day-to-day operational support as well as defining the strategic plan, organizational alignment, salesforce analysis, recommendations for improvements in salesforce effectiveness, competitive intelligence and input into trends, and market changes that can affect the salesforce and productivity.

 

This role will focus on developing and implementing transformational projects to help make informed decisions, plan and implement strategic and tactical initiatives across Americas for our IoT and Infrastructure Group (IIBU). The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, detail, systems, process and results oriented individual focused on driving sales velocity and efficiencies.

 

 

The Role:

 

  • Dual reporting role to VP of WW Business Operations and Business partner to the VP of Sales of China.
  • Responsible for all  China activities within Sales Operations areas including revenue forecasting, financial modeling, opportunity funnel management and statistical KPI to drive the efficiencies and business management for  China Sales Organization.
  • Partners closely with Sales Management, Distribution Management and Finance organization to develop and administer the company’s goals and Sales planning activities in timely manner.
  • Lead a group of analysts and China customer service organization, and pro-actively facilitates and implements business process assessments, improvements, and efficiencies for all Sales Operations and Customer Service activities across China for IIBU organization.
  • Focus on IIBU transformational projects to help make informed decisions, plan and implement strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Leads cross–functional projects and build consensus within internal and external stakeholders to implement new or enhanced services, changes to business models.
  • Active involvement in the global Sales Strategic Planning Process for all China matters.

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bechalor degree in Finance, Sales & Marketing, Business, Computer Sciences or related discipline.
  • 15+ years related hands-on experience within Sales Operations and/or Business Operations preferably with Finance experience e.g. as Financial Analyst or Controller
  • Solid experience in the Semiconductor Industry with sound business acumen and knowledge about the distribution channel is a prerequisite
  • Advanced critical thinking and excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations processes and systems (sales forecasting, sales quotas and commission, customer master, CRM applications, analytics and reporting).
  • Strong analytic and quantitative skills, ability to determine trends and propose solutions in improving sales velocity and efficiencies.
  • Effective organizational, problem-solving skills with a high attention and time management skills.
  • Superb oral and written communication in both English and Chinese, with ability to handle and protect confidential information.
  • Possess general understanding of distribution and/or third party sales medium within the semiconductor industry highly desirable.
  • An “A” player with strong and direct interpersonal style, with leadership talent.
