Area Expertise and skills
- Posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
- Creates manual invoices according to company practices
- Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
- Prepares dunning letters and sends them to customers
- Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested
- Conducting credit checks on new and existing customers
- Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team
- Ability to solve accounting problems and errors
- As the customers are mainly based in Europe flexible working time is required
Position Requirements
- Candidate must possess a minimum Professional Certificate / Diploma in Accountancy or any professional accountancy body
- Candidate must possess at least 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting; AR preferred.
- Experience with SAP
- Candidate should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
- Candidate must possess good English communication skills.
- Candidate must possess intermediate excel skills
- Candidate should have at least minimum mix experience in general ledger functions, month-end close, international accounting and intercompany transactions
- Candidate should have a basic working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
