Area Expertise and Skills
✓ Support the general ledger team in new SAP implementation in area such as performing UAT testing and data migration
✓ Support the general ledger team in policy alignment, unifying processes and controls in different accounting functions such as intercompany, General Ledger, closing, international accounting
✓ Documenting ERP processes in fixed asset, general ledger, and inter-company area
✓ Documenting new control narratives in fixed asset, general ledger, and inter-company area
✓ Working knowledge of IFRS, in area such as prepayment, accrual, foreign exchange, impairment
✓ Ability to solve complex accounting problems and errors.
✓ Prepare journal entries, reconcile financial statements and accounts, and ensure data accuracy.
✓ Aligning general ledger accounting practices to support budgeting and forecasting.
✓ Reconciling accounts with the general ledger with targeted no open items.
✓ Rep Commission calculation - Data entry, maintenance, extract & analyze data to compute commission calculation through various sources & systems.
Position Requirements
✓ Candidate must possess a minimum Professional Certificate / Diploma in Accountancy or any professional accountancy body.
✓ Candidate must possess at least 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting. mix of experience in public accounting or Internal Audit would be preferred
✓ Have familiarity with ERP/Accounting systems
✓ Candidate should have experience in documenting control narratives, business processes
✓ Candidate should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
✓ Candidate must possess good English communication skills.
✓ Candidate must possess intermediate excel skills
✓ Candidate should have mix experience in general ledger functions, month-end close, international accounting and intercompany transactions
✓ Candidate should have a solid working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
