POSITION: Product Engineer Internship (Full time or Part time for a duration of 6 months, requires 20- 40 hours per week and local residency)
LOCATION: San Jose, CA or Tempe, AZ




  • Work on state of the art Custom ASICs (e.g clock chips, SOCs)
  • Support yield analysis and optimization activities for key products using state-of-the-art software tools, including SAS JMP, Exensio and Galaxy.
  • Work with yield tool developers for tool enhancement
  • Identify yield detractors and investigate fixes through bench-level testing.
  • Support new product development life cycle from conception through release to production. This involves interfacing with multiple functional teams such as design, test, quality and other engineering groups


ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES could include the following items

  • Assist with developing production and characterization test plans and specifications
  • Debug hardware and software for lab validation and qualification purposes
  • Perform bench testing to measure device parameters for design verification, characterization and correlation
  • Analyze measurement results and correlate the measurement between ATE and bench
  • Support device level and package qualification activities
  • Support failure analysis team with any qualification related failures or customer returns



  • Has interest and experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit technology and measurement techniques
  • Has experience setting up and using lab test equipment (e.g. DC power supplies, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, etc.)
  • Is familiar with MS Office applications, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Has a strong background in statistical techniques
  • Is a good team player
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with software coding is a plus (C, C++, Python, TAP, LabView)



  • Working towards a BS (3rd year or above) or MS degree in Electrical Engineering.
